Sierra Leone is one of the poorest countries in the world having been wrecked by a decade long civil war that ended in 2004 and now the Ebola crisis of 2015. Due to this devastating conflict and the HIV/Aids crisis Sierra Leone has a huge number of orphaned children who are in desperate need. New Hope Initiative operates a wonderful orphanage in small rural village of Moribatown. This 72 bed facility is meeting the physical, nutritional, medical, educational, and spiritual needs of these very challenged children. This work is a partnership along with national pastor Francis Rogers and his El Shaddai ministries and two American churches: Calvary Baptist Church of Hanson, MA and Grace Community Church of Fannet, TX.
